The Church of Santa Engrácia (Igreja de Santa Engrácia) is one of the most attractive Lisbon's monuments. It is located in the neighbourhood of Aflama, on a site of the former church of the same name, which was damaged in 1630. The works on its today's shape started in 1682 and finally finished in 1966. The exterior of the church distinguishes by its impressive dome, while the interior is covered by the beautiful decorative tiles.

In 1916 the Church of Santa Engrácia had been converted into the National Pantheon ((Panteao Nacional)) and many important Portuguese personalities have their tombs there.
