The Estrela Garden (Jardim de Estrela), known also as the Guerra Junqueiro Garden, is one of the loveliest gardens in Lisbon, once the most representative one. It was founded in 1842 on the initiative of Bernardo da Costa Cabral - the Marquis of Tomar.

The Estrela Garden includes plenty of ponds, fountains, various interesting plants and other facilities, such as: a municipal library, cafe, restaurant and a children playground.
